Diocese of Charleston, Defender of the Bond

The Diocese of Charleston in South Carolina is seeking a degreed person for full-time work in the Tribunal, with duties to include a role as Defender of the Bond. Applicant must possess at least a licentiate in canon law (JCL) from a Pontifical Institute and have at least two (2) years of experience in tribunal work, especially in the area of marriage cases. Applicant must be a Catholic in good standing and have the endorsement of his/her Ordinary, Religious Superior, or former employer. The applicant must demonstrate computer proficiency with excellent communication skills. Spanish fluency would be useful. The Diocese of Charleston offers good benefits and compensation based on education, skills and experience.
