CLSA Publications requires prepayment by check or credit card at the time of purchase on all orders placed by individual persons. Make checks payable to the CLSA in US currency only; the Society takes Visa and MasterCard credit cards only. All international orders must be prepaid either by check drawn on a USA bank or by one of these credit cards.
No returns after thirty (30) days from date of shipping; all returns must be in sell-able condition, accompanied by a packing list or invoice, with the purchaser paying postage charges. Additionally, bookstores (resellers) require advance authorization from the CLSA for all returns, which must be made within ninety (90) days of the original invoice date. A 15% restocking fee will be applied for returns of five or more copies of any one title.
Replacement copies for those received in unsatisfactory condition must be requested and approved within seven (7) days of receipt by telephone at 301-362-8197 or fax 301-206-9789. The shipping address for any and all returns is CLSA Publications, 9050 Junction Drive, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701-1150, USA.
All orders are invoiced and are included in the shipping package; no further invoices are sent to customers.
UPS Second Day Air: UPS Ground shipping cost (see above) plus US$15.00 ("Rush Order" fee)
For International Orders (shipped outside the US):
The CLSA uses the following International Groups to determine the shipping cost: North America; Central & South America; Western Europe 1; Western Europe 2; Eastern /Central Europe; Central Asia/ Southeast Europe; Southeast Asia; Southeast Asia 2; Western Asia; Australia & New Zealand; Africa; Caribbean Islands. If you are having trouble determining which International Group your items are being shipped to, or if you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact the CLSA Publications Office at (301) 362-8197. All web orders are shipped via UPS, if you wish to have your order shipped via USPS, please place your order by calling CLSA Publications at (301) 362-8197.
CLSA members who use their membership ID number receive a discount on all publications (discount varies per publication). Book dealers must contact CLSA Publications for special applicable policies. "Desk copies" are not supplied by the CLSA.
