The event begins with a short trip to Natchitoches at 5 PM on Tuesday where Solemn Vespers will be celebrated in the newly dedicated Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. A short history will follow. Then, we enjoy the fare of The Landing Restaurant overlooking Cane River and the famous Natchitoches Christmas Festival of Lights. We return to Alexandria for hospitality.

On Wednesday we hear Archbishop Burke during three presentations punctuated by times of prayer and a midday break for lunch and siesta. The three presentations are entitled: 1) Jurisprudence regarding Simulation, especially New Grounds of Nullity Introduced by Some Tribunals; 2) Canonical Questions regarding the Administration of the Temporal Goods of the Church; and 3) The Diocesan Bishop as the Moderator of the Tribunal. The active members also deal with a little business. Then, we depart at 5 PM for The Cathedral of St. Francis Xavier for Holy Mass followed by a sumptuous meal at The Bistro on the Bayou. The evening ends with hospitality.

Archbishop Burke’s last presentation (The Relationship between Tribunals of Different Grades) is Thursday morning after Morning Prayer. At 10:45 AM we bid farewell enriched with new knowledge in our convention and having enjoyed the celebration of a "Century of Faith, Hope and Love” in the Diocese of Alexandria.
