The Province of Atlanta, (the diocese of Savannah, Georgia,
the dioceses of Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, the diocese of
Charleston, South Carolina, and the Archdiocese of Atlanta) will hold its
annual meeting from the afternoon of April 23 through noon of April 25, 2012,
in Charlotte, North Carolina. The
participation fee for out-of-province attendees is $150 per person.
Lynda Robitaille, JCD, will present the necessary elements
of a solid argument section when declaring a marriage null on the grounds of
error concerning the essential nature of marriage, partial simulation to
exclude the good of the spouses, and total simulation. She is an Adjunct Professor of Canon Law at
St. Paul University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Sister Jeanne-Margaret McNally, RSM, PhD, JCL, will present
"The Expanded Use of the Expert.” Sister McNally graduated from the Catholic University of
American with a PhD in Psychology and a JCL.
For the past 14 years, she has been the Defender of the Bond in the
Diocese of Charlotte. Currently, she
serves as an associate judge in the Archdiocese of Miami and assists tribunals
as a court expert.
