Saint Paul University, Ottawa

18-21 April 2017
In 2001, the Faculty of Canon Law of Saint Paul University offered to canonists a highly successful continuing education seminar on the major developments in canon law after the 1983 and 1991 Codes. Since then, there have been numerous additional developments in important areas, including marriage, procedures, penal law, liturgical law, temporal goods, clerical discipline, and consecrated life. In this 2017 seminar, professors from the Faculty will review significant canonical developments in the 21st century and address issues of interpretation and practical application. To augment this formation, the seminar will allow opportunities for participants to present their own questions and experiences.
The Seminar will be offered on campus, at Saint Paul University, Ottawa, and online, at a distance. Simultaneous translation will be provided for francophone participants.
More details will be forthcoming in Fall 2016.
