The 2012 Eastern Regional Conference of Canonists Convention will be held May 8-10, 2012 at the Philadelphia Marriott in downtown Philadelphia, PA. The Archeparchy of Philadelphia is hosting this year's conference in the heart of the City of Brotherly Love. The conference will present areas of canon law considered foreign in the church but affects canonists on a daily basis: inter-ecclesial law and its significance.
Scheduled speakers are: Most Rev. David Motiuk, Eparch of Edmonton; Most Rev. Mark Bartchak, Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown; Rev. Thomas Green, Catholic University of America; and Rev. Jobe Abbass, OFM, St. Paul University.
