Pope Benedict XVI recently named Msgr. David Talley as a second auxiliary bishop to the Archdiocese of Atlanta, Georgia. He joins Archbishop Wilton Gregory and Bishop Luis Zarama in the ever-growing Archdiocese, now shepherding over a million Catholics.

Msgr. Talley earned his JCL and JCD from the Gregorian in Rome, and he served as Atlanta's vocations director, judicial vicar, and chancellor before becoming a full-time pastor in 2003. He has been a member of the CLSA since 1999.

Msgr. Talley's appointment came January 2, 2013. He will be ordained on Easter Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

The CLSA extends its warm congratulations to Bishop-Elect Talley!
