Reverend Monsignor Ralph Brown, a longtime member of the Canon Law Society and present editor of the Canon Law Newsletter for the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland, passed into eternal rest on Monday, January 6.
Msgr. Brown earned both his licentiate and doctorate in canon law from the Gregorian University in Rome. An active member of the CLSA since 1979, he was later awarded an honorary membership.
Msgr. Brown was a founding father of the Canon Law Society of Great Britain and Ireland, serving as president from 1980 until 1986. He was awarded a Lifetime Membership to the CLSGB&I on November 27, 2013, in honor of his service and outstanding contributions. More information regarding Msgr.
