Monsignor Anthony Borrelli of the Catholic Diocese of Columbus died early Thursday morning, April 24, 2014. He was 83 years old.

Monsignor Borrelli earned his licentiate in canon law in 1957 from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. In addition to numerous parish and chaplain appointments during his priesthood, he served as an advocate, pro tem notary, judge instructor, judicial vicar, adjutant judicial vicar, and senior canonist for the Diocesan Tribunal of Columbus, culminating in 57 years of service.
