Convention 1-65 Construction Update

The Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau would like to inform our conventioneers about the following traffic update:
The work on Interstate 65 continues, affecting the northbound lanes first followed by the southbound lanes. Please expect delays.
Northbound travelers on I-65 from Fern Valley Road to the Watterson Expressway will experience five lanes of traffic reduced to three lanes, causing heavy congestion and some delays. Contractors are working 24 hours a day to complete each section. Once northbound lanes are complete, southbound lanes will reduce from three lanes to two causing congestion and traffic delays for southbound travelers. The mainline project should be completed by November 15, 2009.
The Hyatt Regency is located near the I-65, I-71 & I-64 Interchange.
