Rev. Alan McCoy, OFM died
at 6:30 Thursday morning, October 15, 2009,
at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Father McCoy was 96 years
old,
76 years professed, and 71 years
ordained. Fr. McCoy was a long time member of the Society, and served as President from 1966-1967.
The Vigil
Service will be held Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7:00 PM
at the Friars
Chapel Old Mission Santa Barbara and the Funeral
Liturgy will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 11:00
AM at Mission
Church in Santa Barbara, CA with the internment immediately following.
Please remember Fr. McCoy in your prayers and masses.
