SPU Announces Legal Education Program

Msgr. John Renken, Dean of the Faculty of Canon Law at Saint Paul University, has announced SPU's Legal Education program for present and future leaders of religious institutes, societies of apostolic life, and their lay collaborators, scheduled for 12-15 June 2017.

 

This updated/revised program offers instruction in the contemporary context on the main aspects of canon law and certain aspects of civil law affecting institutes and societies. This year's topics include Community, Vows and patrimony, Rights of individuals, Consecrated life, Separation, New forms of consecrated life, and New communities and their mission.

 

Participants are able to take part in the entire Legal Education program on campus or at a distance.  Individuals may follow the program in English or in French, and may take one, two, or all three years of the formation program. Academic credits are available through SPU.
