Commissioned as a project of the Parish Viability Committee of the Canon Law Society of America,
this is a text useful to pastors, parish councils, and those involved
in parish planning. Composed after consultation with twenty-six diocese
in the United States, this text provides a ready guide to evaluate
legal requirements in a parish according to the Code of Canon Law and the Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches.
