Sr. Ann Keevan, CSJ

Sr. Ann Keevan, CSJ died Tuesday evening, April 5th, at Maine General in Waterville, ME at the age of 72.  Sr. Keevan entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1957 and celebrated her Golden Jubilee in 2009.  Sr. Ann was a long-time member of the CLSA and attended many annual conventions.  She was a nominee to the BOG; served as co-editor with Fr. James Donlon of the Canonical Opinions, and participated in the committees on Religious Life, Due Process.  At the Tribunal she served in various assignments: Instructor, Advocate, Defender of the Bond.  She was Director of the Office of Due Process, and canonical consultant to several religious congregations of women, assisting them in drafting and revising their consitutions.  She completed her J.C.D. at the Angelicum in Rome.

Due to health reasons, Sr. Ann moved to Mount St. Joseph in Waterville in 2009 where she resided until her death. The funeral was celebrated on Friday, April 8.
