2010 gathering of the Canon Law Societies of Canada and the USA will prove
to be an extraordinary experience. Indeed, this is an opportunity one does not
want to miss. We shall convene at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo, www.buffalo.hyatt.com. Originally established as an office edifice, it
has been transformed into a hotel, the guest rooms of which are not "standard”
in size and shape. Architecturally, I think you will find this an interesting
area immediately outside the hotel is in the process of a major renovation. About a 7 minute walk from the hotel the renovation work is completed, which is stupendous, indeed, with
eateries, shops, restorations [particularly of the Shea's Performing Arts
Center], etc. About a 10
minute walk from the hotel [trolley service is available for part of the
passage] is St. Joseph Cathedral, a magnificent neo-gothic structure,
approaching its 200th birthday, www.buffalocathedral.org.
a visitor’s point of view, you might enjoy the sites, one of which is Niagara Falls, www.niagarafallstourism.com. As
I suggested above, the many and varied architectural styles, all well within an
easy stroll, should prove a delight for you to behold and savor, e.g. Frank
Lloyd Wright's "Prairie House," constructed between 1903 and 1905.

gathered in NY, NY for 10 conventions [‘40 - ‘47, ‘50 &
‘63], this is our first convention elsewhere in the state.
