Msgr. Raymond Goehring of the Diocese of Lansing is available, principally for writing marriage case sentences or defending, by mail but open to limited duration travel for canonist's ministry.
After 22 years as assistant and pastor, he began 23 years full time as assessor and indulted judge. Msgr. Goehring received his JCL from Catholic University in 1997, and recently completed 10 years as judicial vicar and is now retired, continuing as judge and ministering in parishes. He has completed around 2,500 formal cases and is experienced in ligamen, Pauline, lack of form, defect in form, but not PF; speaker and writer on liturgical and canonical subjects; compiler of diocesan policy manual; and is now on committee to revise provincial marriage preparation guidelines. Msgr. Goehring is qualified for Graviora cases through USCCB-CDF seminar and
can translate ecclesiastical Latin texts.
