The Diocese of Orlando actively seeks a Director of Tribunal Services to lead the day to day operations of the Office of the Tribunal and to assist the Judicial Vicar in the processing of annulment cases and collating information for laicization petitions. The Director of Tribunal Services supervises the administrative staff of the Tribunal as well as the docket of cases.
Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess a Doctorate or Licentiate in Canon Law, at least seven years of office experience to include supervision of staff, and will be bilingual in English and in Spanish, possessing a facility with foreign languages, especially Latin and Italian. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess the capacity to apply the law with accuracy, prudence, and pastoral sense, and will be proficient in Microsoft Office, and Case Master, TMS. Finally, the successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic with a profound knowledge of and respect for the Roman Catholic Church and its teachings, and will possess the ability to “sentire cum Ecclesia” (think with the Church) while always recognizing that “salus animarum suprema lex” (the salvation of souls is the supreme law).
